A few hours ago, we learned the Duchess of Sussex suffered a miscarriage, last July. Miscarriage is a detrimental incident for parents. And as such it is a sensitive subject which not many people want to talk about.

And not without a reason.

Having suffered such a loss you feel lost to say the least. The last thing you want is someone to make you feel worse. That is why it is important, should you want to talk about it, to do so with caution or self-preservation if you like. I mean, being careful to whom you talk to about it. Not everyone and at all times is ready to receive such news; let alone to respond appropriately.

There are all sorts of people and moods that will not indicate a good shoulder to cry on but also a great deal of those who will prove genuine sympathizers.

Hence, in order to avoid feeling, possibly, worse, keep the news for someone who has been proven to honour your call to grief with you.
