Everyday, in our lives, we encounter dilemmas hard or easy ones, complicated or simple ones. And we always ask ourselves or others and we worry about whether we made the right decision or not.
The good news is that we are not totally alone on this one. The bad news is that we need a bit of training and self-trust.
The 'companion' we have - and that is why I said we are not totally alone - is a feeling or 'inner voice'. You have heard and you may have used, yourself, the expression 'I have a feeling', when someone is about to make a decision. That feeling is a 'compass', follows you on every decision and, basically, guides you.
Nevertheless, one needs to train themselves to be able to distinguish that feeling. It also depends on how much you care about making the right - or not making the wrong - decisions.
For example, when I do something wrong, most of the times, I will have a feeling that will 'tell' me what I do is wrong and that feeling will create a response of stress. That is the moment when I know that I have to do something about it and take responsibility.
It is not rare that the difficulty of a choice - which can be a fakely-induced difficulty - can lead to procrastination.
Remember: By doing the right thing, many times, it may feel difficult or insurmountable but believe me, when you do it, it will feel redeeming.
